We\u2019re delighted to share with you the great news that MIG was recognised as the \u201cKey Innovator\u201d by the European Commission\u2019s Innovation Radar for the innovative technology it delivered to the EU-funded project BuildHeat.<\/p>\n
Within the framework of the EU\u2019s research and innovation program Horizon 2020, BuildHeat sought to provide energy efficient and affordable retrofit solutions for residential buildings across Europe through utilising the best technologies from its 18 project partners. MIG\u2019s role in the project was to develop an innovative coating as part of an active fa\u00e7ade system aimed at improving insulation performance of buildings.<\/p>\n
The EU\u2019s Innovation Radar is an initiative supported by EU\u2019s member states with the task of highlighting excellent innovations in terms of their market maturity and disruptive potential drawing on information gathered by independent experts who review ongoing research and innovation projects. Information on the identified technological novelties will be made available on the EU\u2019s Innovation Radar Platform, so that the public can have access to the outstanding technological and scientific advances being delivered by researchers and innovators around Europe.<\/p>\n
The award of \u201cKey Innovator\u201d demonstrates that MIG\u2019s innovation worthiness has gained Europe-wide acknowledgement. This not only adds yet another laurel to the innovation credentials of our company, but also will open up many market and collaboration opportunities for us.<\/p>\n
