{"id":8650,"date":"2021-11-15T22:28:10","date_gmt":"2021-11-15T21:28:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mig-mbh.de\/en-GB\/?p=8650"},"modified":"2021-11-15T22:58:48","modified_gmt":"2021-11-15T21:58:48","slug":"migs-innovation-depicted-in-weya-art","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mig-mbh.de\/en-GB\/migs-innovation-depicted-in-weya-art\/","title":{"rendered":"MIG\u2019s innovation depicted in Weya art"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cMIG 20 Years\u201d &#8211; a unique painting by one of Zimbabwe\u2019s renowned Weya artist Irene Karuva &#8211; is a colourful celebration of harmony between innovation, the natural environment and rural community development.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring bright composition, spontaneous creativity and childlike simplicity, Weya is an indigenous Zimbabwean art form that tells stories about local way of life.<\/p>\n<p>The inspiration for Irene\u2019s artwork was MIG\u2019s climate-friendly coating technology recently presented in South Africa aimed at supporting local communities to live more sustainably.
