Our Hungarian partner, GreenMIG Hungary, has just kicked off their latest project, where our innovative insulation coating system MIG-ESP® is being used to boost both energy efficiency and fire protection for a residential apartment building.
With 75% of the EU’s building stock being energy inefficient, this project addresses the urgent need for better-performing buildings. Increasing energy efficiency not only reduces energy bills for residents and small businesses but also supports the EU’s goal of achieving a zero-emission, decarbonized building stock by 2050.
MIG-ESP® is the ideal solution for energy-focused refurbishments. It offers excellent thermal insulation while using minimal resources, reducing reliance on traditional, resource-heavy insulation materials. This approach lowers environmental impact while delivering substantial energy savings. Beyond energy efficiency, the system promotes healthier living spaces by preventing issues like thermal bridging and moisture buildup, which can lead to mould and discomfort. It also reduces both material and labour costs, making it a cost-effective option for projects of any size. Additionally, it enhances fire safety, meeting modern building standards.
With a proven track record in energy-focused refurbishments across Europe, our coating system continues to deliver real results. This Hungarian apartment building is another example of how innovative materials can turn sustainability goals into tangible outcomes—substantial energy savings, reduced carbon emissions, and improved living comfort.
Stay tuned for more updates on our ongoing projects and innovative solutions driving sustainability in the building sector.
