The SME2B Business Forum 2024 in Brussels, with its powerful theme “Building a European Economy of Trust,” has concluded, spotlighting the urgent need for reform and the pivotal role of SMEs in rejuvenating Europe’s economy. MIG’s CEO, Mr. Wolfgang Bonder, made a significant impact at this high-profile event, offering insights on how SMEs can drive Europe’s economic future.
As an agile and forward-thinking SME specializing in sustainable building materials, MIG exemplifies how innovation can fuel growth and competitiveness. During a key panel discussion, Mr. Bonder shared firsthand experience and strategic insights, showcasing how our innovative approaches are making a difference.
The forum’s momentum continued as Mr. Bonder was invited to join the GROW task force network, a new initiative by European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME. This influential Brussels-based federation, representing 30 national and sectoral associations advocates for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) within EU institutions. The GROW task force is focused on reshaping legislative procedures and ensuring that SMEs have a strong voice in policy-making. It also aims to correct past missteps, particularly in the standard-setting for innovative products – a challenge MIG has actively worked to improve.
We are excited about the potential of these initiatives to foster a more supportive and business-friendly environment for European SMEs, paving the way for a stronger, more competitive, and integrated Single Market.
